I saw the original Exorcist at a young age and it scared the life out of me. Watched nightmare on elm street when I was 6 and it also scared the lifew out of me.
Nowadays horror films are quite rare, well good ones anyway. The omen was quite good. It has to be one that gives you a hard time trying to go to sleep afterwards. Don't see many like that anymore.

My favourite horror is either Scream 1 or The Texas Chainsaw Masacer. They were both ace movies the first time you see them. The worst for me would have to be the Exercist(sp), all the hype for what really is a load of crap.
I like Scream 1, it was 'original' well, as original as muderous bloodbaths can get, it looked good and started a cult, thats all I have to say, it was better in Scary Movie.
It has to be The Thing, Kurt Russell and about 3 people who look like Rorry McGrath
