The main thing that is getting everyone heated, the thing that is making rational people cry for blood?
The footage of the Palestinians cheering and dancing.
Well, that footage is actually from 1991, Palestinians celebrating the invasion of Kuwait.

This was a devestating attack, but it is my belief that that US government is using this as an excuse for a new level of security controls and supression of civil liberties within the United States.
They have been given the OK from the rest of the world to invade and get a foothold in Middle Eastern regions, something they have been itching to do before and now have carte blanche.
Thousands of people died, and I feel they are being exploited for governmental gains.
This, to me, is abhorrent having lost an Uncle to see this sitatuation being used for political gain.
Please, read that article before you slam me.
Email CNN and ask them if this is true.
So many things ring false about what we are being told, yet whilst a small percentage of us ask questions and say "Well just wait a moment", the USA is gearing up for invasion and war.
And anyone risking to question that is being labelled as a "Traitor" or "Liberal"
Please read that article and my "Things just dont add up" post, there is something terribly wrong with this situation and nobody is asking questions.
I am from Dundee,
> and it is twinned with a Palestinian town, where there were open
> celebrations in the streets.
But that's my point Bonus, how do you know there has been?
Footage on the news? The footage from 1991?
Please, go and read that page and the statements made.
At no point has there been any proof of "open celebrations".
Quite to the contrary, muslims the world over are shocked and keep repeating how wrong this act is.
But all we're seeing is the planes hitting, people dying and then dancing, cheering "Dirty Arabs". I haven't seen any such thing myself, and I cannot rely on an American News Company being partisan in times where the entire nation (almost world) is condoning war against a nation of people.
Noam Chomsky gives a detailed account of this bias in his excellent book "Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of The Mass Media".
In which, the terms and methods used by mainstream media will give a slanted perspective on events, and all too rarely do we question what we are being shown.
A good example of this is with the US involvement in Central America, specifically Nicaragua and El Salvador.
Those were previously communist regimes, until the US decided it would be in their interest to have control of those regions (drugs trade etc).
So, when the area was anti-american, the people fighting were guerillas.
But when the CIA helped to install puppet dictators on the American Payroll, suddenly it was "rebels" and not "Guerillas".
This is simplifying it to a horrendous level and I urge you to read Chomsky's book on this subject.
We are seeing a similar situation with Bin Laden and the footage of "Palestinians dancing and celebrating".
I watched Panorama tonight, supposedly an investigative programme that relies on "truthful and partisan reporting".
Tonight was all about Osama Bin Laden.
Except there was not one single mention of Bin Laden's connection to the CIA.
Why not?
Bin Laden was yet another "freedom fighter" in the hills of Afghanistan, but his family's wealth and power made him a nice subject for "assistance" from the United States.
With Russia in Afghanistan, the USA did not want them anywhere near the oil field areas.
So they approached Bin Laden and trained him in "urban tactical warfare" (Guerilla warfare).
They gave him the training, the manpower and the status to start his "Liberation army". His vast-network of terrorists is mainly in existence thanks to the CIA helping him to organise several disparate bands of terrorists.
Russia was routed, but Bin Laden realised he had been played by the CIA and turned on them, driving out the covert-operations groups operating with Mossad in Palestein.
When the Oklahoma bombing took place, they blamed Bin Laden for that and carpet bombed his headquarters for 2 weeks, despite his protest he had nothing to do with it (is this sounding familiar to anyone?).
When it turned out to be Timothy McVeigh, it was a great embarrasment and brushed under the carpet.
So why did Panorama not mention any of this?
Why did they rehash the Kenyan embassy bombings, despite the connection to Bin Laden being a confession by a man kept for 11 days in a less than democratic police station?
Bin Laden is being portrayed as the culprit of the World Trade Centre attacks. He is denying this, but it makes no difference.
America is all but in there now and ready to take him out.
I'm not denying that Bin Laden is a terrorist and has carried out a number of attacks.
But I don't believe he did this one, and neither to a rapidly growing number of people like you and me.
Europe has urged Bush to "consider the evidence and present it before taking action".
It's starting to appear that the USA have acted with historical swiftness to respond to this attack and consolidate their position in The Middle East, allowing them to get nearer to the OPEC Cartel.
Something is wrong here, and we're not being told the whole story, even by supposedly hard-hitting current events programmes like Panorama.
CNN has "America:The New War" on their screen 24/7.
Bloodlust is being fed and everyone kept in a frenzy state so we dont stop to ask any questions, just seek mindless revenge.
And does anyone else expect him to make a freudian slip, and start spouting about declaring war on communis... terrorists.
Maybe a news anchor to speak about McCarth... President Bush.
And by the time all this is over is Miller's 'The Crucible' going to be topping bestseller lists?
We know America was attacked by a group using little in the way of advanced technology.
We know America would now very much like to attack the palestinians.
We don't know what details we've been told by the american government regarding the terrorists are true, or even who actually did it.
Could it be that the very strong counter offensive stance is being used to detract from the very serious problem of how the incident was actually carried out with such ease in the first place, and the minor problem of not actually being able to prove who it was?
Any other thoughts?
