Wonder if someone could help me out. I have installed a new network card and setup ICS for my PC. However whilst reading the LIVE walkthrough on Xbox.com I saw something about a cross over cable. I found a cross over cable that I wanted however it does not state that the cable is "straight" or not. The guide says it shouldn't be a straight cable but I don't know what the hell that means. Probably a stupid question which will make me look like a complete idiot however I would be grateful if someone could point out which cable to get and whether it makes a difference or not about it being "straight".

Cheers in advance.

Cheers. I tried to load up LIVE (function came with KOTOR when I accidently clicked on LIVE content from within the game) and it said cables were conencted properly but it failed to log on to the network. I am guessing thats because I haven't actually set up LIVE yet.

Pretty much it, If you're getting a cross-over cable the best thing to do is to get it from someone who does returns.

Oh, and give yourself an extra meter or two when measuring the length of cable needed :-D

One other thing, do I need to activate something else when I want to use LIVE or do I just need to connect to the internet and load LIVE up?
