Hey guys, just wanted to know your opinions on the whole motion move vs natal. Obviously each side has positives and negatives e.g are Sony and Microsoft eliminating hardcore gamers and moving towards the family market. I mean on every advert i have seen family after family. Although the new SOCOM demo has been shown at a conference for the PlayStation move, can natal do gun games with their software? whats your opinions on this topic? and who do you prefer?

Yeah, and thanks pal, i just hope they can maybe bring different games out rather than those that are similar to the wii. But i am also entrigued to see how far Natal goes.

No problems MrPlaystation. We are on a forum and we are all entitled to our own opinions and it is nice to see a new user posting some quality posts :)

Fingers crossed they will do something new with the software. I like the look of Natal as appears totally different in the way the motion sensor works.

I replied on another wall by accident but I also put that I think they made this game linear as it would not fit I'm with the storyline and therefore focusing much attention on the environments A.I and I think that was successful.

I didn't necessarily say that it was a rip-off of the wii, I was just annoyed at the way Sony marketed and announced it. I'm sure it will have it's users, but now the Wii has been out for quite some time and the novelty of motion sensitive games is decreasing, I think Sony launched into the market too late again...

I also have to add that the reason the game was linear was due to the storyline as the characters couldn't go into any towns or city and I think square enix new this therfore making the current, surrounding environments more appealable to the user and I think that was a success.

I've reiterated this a thousand times, but the reason I play games is because I want to relax, and I don't want to move. I'll play Tennis etc. in real life for fitness.

I can see this happening.

TBH I'm like Sonic Chris prefer a gamepad but it will be good to try the new software but I don't like it when people say move is a wii rip off because it's not as the software was designed way before the wii but I will agree with you on the fact that games ATM look similar to those that the wii have released :)
