Hands up how many people knew Bin Laden was trained and assisted by The CIA to repel Russia from Afghanistan?

And how many people knew that America carpet-bombed the Sudan for 3 months, killing almost 350,000 innocent people along with the military personnel there?

Or how about America launching cruise missiles against Bin Laden for the Oklahoma bombing, when he protested he had nothing to do with that (sounding familiar?), and when Timothy McVeigh admitted he did it, Bin Laden THEN declared Jihad against America, because they tried to whack him for turning against them after ridding Afghanistan of the Russians?

How many people have bothered to find out about the footage being shown of dancing and celebrating Palestinians is actually from 1991 when Kuwait was invaded?
Anyone emailed CNN asking about that?

Anyone read Chomsky's comments in the Life forum?
Or read my "things just dont add up" thread?

Yes a lot of people died, horrifically and tragically.
However, this is a godsend to an administration that has reversed Clinton's budget cutbacks for the military-industrial sector.

Let's just wait and get evidence before we start a ground-war in an area America has been itching to get into since the mid-fifties.

USA and Bush just want a chance to go in against the Taleban. This is an excuse they've wanted for a long time. If the Afgans just give up Osama Bin Laden, I'm sure they'll care, but carry on bombing.

War. What an innocent looking word. But looks can be deceptive.

Yes, this isn't a war between countries.

Although the Americans have turned this into one...

I personally think Bush shouldn't have been allowed to decide what to do, because I expect he was seriously affected by the attack. But then again, he's president.

Also, what a start for Bush. Clinton is president for many years, and never really had to deal with much important stuff apart from the Lewinsky thing and a few small terrosist attacks.

In Bush's first year he declares war.

........

Would I fight? No, because I'm too young, and no, because I don't want to.
