Hi,
I am new to this forum and my query is about fish in garden ponds.
I introduced fish into the pond in April this year 2001 (2 goldfish,2 Grey Ghosts, (one of the Grey ghosts died after about 6 weeks)and 4 Shubunkins).
This morning while I was giving the fish their food I noticed a movement amongst my plants and I saw a little fish about 1 inch long. As we are approaching winter time isn't this a little late for fish to propagate and will it survive if I leave it in the pond? The new addition looks like a shubunkin ( I think that is how you spell it without looking in the book) any help will be most appreciated as my Grandaughter (6) thinks this is magic

I would remove it and keep it in an indoor tank so that the bigger fish don't eat it and that it gets enough food. Then when it gets a bit bigger you can put it back in the pond.

Please note I have no knowledge of fish at all thats just what I think would be best.

Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
