Aye, I'm considering upgrading its graphics card, sticking a re-writable DVD drive inside of it and adding a new sound chip.

You mean a PC which doesn't need drivers updating, where the games always work as they should, where playing online doesn't require a firewall and anti-virus software, and where graphics and sound rival PC's ten times teh price ?

I recently had a new PC, and apart from a few titles on it I still prefer Xbox all the way for gaming.

Agreed, All games are better on consoles wiht the exception of strategy games and sometimes FPS. (Because of the controls)

A PC is a personal computer. It is intended for performing all-sorts of tasks from word processing to creating multi-million-pound movies.

An Xbox is a games console. It is intended solely to entertain.

Now I've cleared that one up, I'm off to...er...do whatever comes to mind.
