I really wanted to like it, but it just wasnt for me...at all.

Hopefully one day you'll manage a chain of two or more posts where you're actually talking about the subject and not resorting to calling people morons.

I find it highly unlikely anybody who dislikes RPGs will enjoy SOA either, because as discussed on another thread it doesn't have the same variety in gameplay as any of the FF games. And the number one criticism of RPG games by non-fans is "they're boring, turn based battles suck, I don't want to fight with numbers...". That's all that SOA consists of, to the point where it even puts me off (as an RPG fan).

Many people despise FF7 actually.

I have played Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast. Opinons are fairly mixed on SOA, but FF7 is universally loved. That's how I would see it.
