I watched a program about how twins are formed and it inspired me to write this poem.
Hello there, you creature.
Can you hear me?
What is this strange feature?
That is upon thee?
Hello dear friend,
Yes loud and clear.
Do not worry about the thing
There is nothing to fear.
Why, why, what does it do?
Come on come on, I need a clue.
This tube that is attached to us,
Is the only thing we thrive.
I find it rather miraculous,
As it’s the only reason we can survive.
What is your name?
I have no name, I have no cover.
What shall I call you?
We can call each other brother.
So then, where does this thing lead?
What is our root? What is our seed?
I'm not too sure about that.
Maybe something to do with lover.
So what shall we call this giant ship of ours?
How about we give it the name our mother?
