Apart from getting the Xbox chipped - which I'm dead set against - is there any way of actually playing NTSC (or is it NSTC?) Xbox games on a PAL Xbox? Y'know, like a Freeloader type contraption?

1) Get it done by a real company, thats what I did and they even give you a new warranty and a switch (For Xbox LIVE) for free :-D.
I was the same but eventually the prospect of free games (DVD burner) was too tempting.

I won't chip my Xbox under any circumstances because
1) I have no idea what I'm doing
2) the warranty will explode as soon as I open it up
So no chips. Unless it's with pie, sausage, fish or a pasty.

I know you said no chipping but you can get ones which attach by Pogo Pins so no soldering required. I had mine soldered but I broke the wire so until I get it rewired i have 40 unplayable games lol. Anyway good luck to ye
