The Japanese games magazine 'Famitsu' which is branded as a ridiculously hard to please publication has awarded top marks to the Gamecubes launch titles.

"Luigi's Mansion received a 9, 9, 8, and an 8. They commented on the game's spooky environments, and said that the control is good once you get used to it.
Wave Race: Blue Storm received a 8, 9, 8, and a 7. They commented that the game is beautiful, and the different weather effects were also quite stunning.
Finally, Super Monkey Ball recieved a 8, 8, 8, and an 8. They said that the different mini-games are really fun, and that the regular mode is pretty good."
This is great news to the great looking new console, and sould make it the most successful console ever!
