No actual figures given, but a rise of 400% in sales sounds good enough, and has no doubt pleased Nintendo.

Maybe due to the price cut Ninty can do something over the Winter period. Well, here's to hoping anyway.

The ability to play the Gamecube for over a year longer than anyone else...

So what do the loyal people get who've had a Gamecube from release? eh!

The amount of people I know with Cubes has gone up recently.

Time to offload some games for moolah methinks.

I miss my GC...

My friend ordered a gamecube the other day, should arrive tomorrow.
However, he ordered in from Arg*s, so it should be here within the next 2 months.

I don't know whether all companies are doing it - but there's one company I know that are giving a free Players Choice game to all those who bought a console within 28 days before the console's price dropped - as a consolation for missing out on £50.

If Nintendo are funding that, then good on them!

Well I am rather pleased by that as it will hopefully keep selling better. But you do have to remember that often after a price cut there is a sales spike as all those who were in two minds over whether or not to get a GC have their minds made up for them.

So if Nintendo's sales can keep at that level for a month or two then things are really looking up.
