After getting a TV Tuner + VGA box to play games on my LCD monitor, I was disappointed with the blurriness of the graphics. I've had a look around and there are several VGA boxes available, all with great reviews stating the screen quality is top notch. But in them they haven't mentioned what monitor they're using - LCD or CRT.

So I'd like to know if any of the staffies have bought/used any of the VGA boxes on an LCD monitor, and have experienced TV or better quality whilst playing on the GC, PS2 or Xbox. I'm talking about clarity and the crispness of the graphics especially.

Cheers in advance.

The Logic3 one has the headphone socket.

£22?? WOW! Makes the £6 delivery charge at the site I found seem like nothing!

Does it have a headphone socket?

And £22 shipping? Bl00dy hell, that's nearly half the price of the thing itself. Did you have to pay customs?

It takes input from AV leads, this sort of monitor (not a normal PC one)

How does that work then? You still need a box to connect the console(s) to the monitor.

The picture was grainy and also had horrible border at bottom of screen which couldn't be removed, only wanted one to save space, bought a small flat screen 7" monitor off ebay instead :)

Just posted a thread abt these so called VGA Boxes.
My friend recently bought one that lets you connect 4 devices to it at any one time. The ones I've seen so far only let you connect one.

Playing on his PC, the quality seemed pretty good. I didn't notice any difference than if we had played on the TV.

I'm trying to find this 4-inputs VGA Box. Not having much luck unfortunately.

Did you find the picture quality grainier than usual too, and was this on a CRT or LCD monitor? I'm trying to determine if it's the type of monitor that's causing the drop in picture quality, or the decoder box itself. Maybe the composite cable connection is to blame?
