I always thought the PS2 was Superior at creating realistic water effects and you know what IT IS BY A LONG SHOT. Splashdown is heading to the console and holds the most stunning water effects EVER seen.
Waverace: blue storm is probably as good as the original and offers fast arcade action but the water DOESN'T come close to splashdown.
But don't take my word for it check out the screenshots over on the videogames site or actually to really see it in action, pick a video clip and see for yourself.

There is a video preview of Splashdown on the PSW demo DVD!! Oh my god - Those water effects are pretty damn impressive!!

We can only wait and see, but to be honest I still think waverace will hold as the most playable and entertaining.
They both look pretty damn impressive!!
I like the look of Splashdown, if it plays as good then it should be something special!!
I missed out on Wave Race for the N64 so I desperatly want it for GameCube!! Another must have from Nintendo!!
About which one is best will have to wait and see!!
