Whilst searching for Max Payne 2 in the shops today, I noticed H&D2 had 'stealthed' its way onto the shelves. Anyone bought it? Thoughts?

Did consider getting it, as the first game absolutely ruled (let's forget about the initial bugs), but the lack of reviews leaves me a tad suspicious - I dearly hope Illusion Softworks haven't messed it up and ended up delivering an unoriginal, uninspiring sequel.

Still, given their 100% track record (granted, they've only given us H&D and Mafia so far, but they're still gems), I'm sure this won't be the case. Just gonna wait for a demo/PCG review first, just to make sure. ;)

PC Zone reviewed it - very favourable. They loved it, as do I.

After playing the demo I can say: The game seems great but I keep getting shot because I can't remember all the control sequences I need to go through to lie down and get my rifle out but that's probably my own fault for not changing them to something I could remember. But good fun non the less. And complicated.

Download the demo, its quite a decent game. I will pick it up when I have cracked through Medieval Total War and when I have completely finished Commandos 3. Perhaps not as gob smackingly genius as the original but it looks and plays like a decent game.

The demo pits you in the ruins of a town and you have to work your way through to a mansion where you have to take it over and then provide covering fire. The controls are muchos confusing, more so than the original but as a game I can imagine it being quite a little cracker despite reviews suggesting its nothing out of the ordinary.
