i really want an rpg game but i dont know what to get i was dissapointed with dark cloud 2 as it was rather boring and i need a serious rpg help me

If you have an American PS2 or the capabilities to play NTSC games on your PS2 then i say either Xenosaga or Digaea: Hour of Darkness. Absolutely brilliant games and both wipe the floor with FFX. Although Xenosaga is the RPG equivalent of MGS2 in the early stages with lots of cutscenes it does even out pretty quickly.
