I have a freeola500 site the site is up and running, but try as I might I just can't get formmail working.

I've changed the location to...

...without success, the form_to_mail.php is not found.

Should I see a copy of form_to_mail.php in my cgi-bin when I ftp in?

any help appreciated

thanks for the suggestions, I've tried /cgi-bin/form_to_mail.php, at least I get to my 'thankyou page' now so it may be working.
How long does it take for the script to actually send the e-mail?

Are you getting a Freeola 404 error page, or the "The form was not submitted for the following reasons" page, or something else?

Try removing your domain name from the action attribute, and start it with a slash, such as <form method="post" action="/cgi-bin/form_to_mail.php">

I wondered if it was all the spacing actually, but dont know if he added that because the forum was complaining about the line length.

Attribute order doesnt matter in html, ie you can have either action or post first.

Hi Terry,

I think you have 'action and method' the wrong way around, it should be:

Not:

I don't think that the freeola form_to_mail.php is visible, if you are using your own formtomail.php it will show up.
