"File Put error - Joomla"

Hi,

I'm trying to install a Joomla extension.

It says 'successful' but further down I get the error (have to break it up for the forum to allow it):

Warning: file_put_contents..Warning: file_put_contents
(/home/sites/vipxxxxxxx/httpd/htdocs/
administrator/components
/com_extplorer/gzip4bb9eaf4e1e8a):
failed to open stream:
Permission denied[/CODE]

Any idea why this might be?

Will be your answer, check parent folder permissions.
