Ok folks, my mate cannot decide which one these two games to get first. He can only afford one of them at the moment. The two games are "Mario Kart: Double Dash!!" and "F-Zero GX". I'd say MK:DD, but what do you guys think?

Ah, I've just actually read the post properly, rather than skimming it to see the titles on offer. :-D
I'd say Double Dash first, just because it's Mario Kart. F-Zero GX is excellent as well though. Try and convince him to trade in to get both or something, because GX is essential, and no doubt Mario Kart will be too.

well, you'd be a little luckier if christmas came the day after the release date of f-zero, then christmas 2(god bless the simpsons) came on the release of mario kart.

We have the best version of Soul Calibur 2 not that long ago, then a few weeks later the amazing Viewtiful Joe, then a week later F-Zero (*crosses fingers and hopes postal strike doesn't affect my copy*- but it probably will), then Mario Kart.
