It looks like Arsenal got a lucky break. When we were negotiating to buy Dudek he made a horrible mistake in a Polish international which made me wonder. Now we've got Englands No. 1 and No. 2 keepers while Dudek just let in three for Liverpool after another poor spell for Poland.
And Houllier defending Gerrard's 'horror tackle' after watching a reply was another reason to revel in Liverpool's defeat.

Just goes to show that it was the players that set up the goals against Germany and Albania that made those wins then, doesn't it.
Especially considering those same players beat Everton 4 - 1.
Even though they were sat on the bench. (Beckham and Scholes).
Gary Neville played though, so by the logic used here, it must have been entirely down to him that England got all 6 points......?

I think the Liverpool players were just a bit big headed after their england games. but still...two deafeats in a row...
We still have a game in hand, but it is a poor start especially after last seasons success!! Still Im sure it will come together soon!!
