Now, I've always assumed that the lead you got with the PS2 was a Scart Lead as standard.
So, in closing; does ANYONE have 60Htz up and running on Pro Evo? And If so, how have you done it?

My PS2 is set up in the exact same way and I have no problems playing PES on 60 HZ.
This one should do the trick:-

I've got 2 at home and they work superbly well.

I knew that....

I always question the quality of scart leads since I bought a decent one with gold connections a while ago to use on my PS 2 cause I was getting black and white image on imports and it didn't work so I tried my old PSX one which I bought from Elec Bou ages ago (which was a pretty basic and standard scart lead) and voila it worked..
But it wouldn't hurt trying because you need it for a different reason but make sure it's RGB.

Commonly known as a "Composite" lead. :)

...I assume the gold-plated Scart cables are the better quality than standard Scarts?
To be honest, the one you get with the PS2 is cack mate - it's a cross between a scart and a normal input/output lead.
Your best bet would be to buy a proper RGB scart lead but then you would need to find another way of connecting it to you sound system but you'll see the quality of the picture improve immensly.
