I notice that my exchange is one that has been earmarked for the much publicized fibre optic rollout.
I'm wondering how that will affect me/Freeola broadband.

The rollout will function in a (more or less) similar fashion to the ADSL2+ rollout from what I can safely say at the moment.
What this means in realistic terms I can not say really, as we have not had too many details filtered through. I know it is in discussion, so hopefully I can let you know more when we do.
Incidentally our local exchange is also one of the first to be targetted, so fingers crossed BT stick by this statement.
