I accidentally changed my URL settings to point to the wrong address and need to reset them, how do I do this?
My site is www.bobversus.com. Built with wordpress. I use filezilla as my ftp.
I went into the wordpress dashboard as usual, to settings-general and changed the two fields which read (something like) URL blog and URL direct from:
http://www.bobversus.com
to
http://www.bobversus.com/charity
See, I'm raising money for charity and wanted to make it my homepage. But it messed up, badly!
I need your help URGENTLY as i've posted my website link around trying to raise money for the National Autistic Society and need it up and running... well... 4 hours ago.
HELP!
How do I reset the settings to go back to www.bobversus.com? Which file do I edit in my htdocs?
Yeah it took 4 hours of meddling. Had to mess around with the config.php file and also functions.php in the content folder.
Thanks for checking out my post so fast though.
Cheers
