I'm a newbie to Freela and its services so sorry if this question has been asked before. I have just set up an email address using one of the Freeola domains but now find I am unable to access it. I realise there is a webmail service but I wish to receive my mail using Outlook. I have set up the program as per the provided instrustions (forwarded to a bt.yahoo account) and I can send to it but cannot receive from it.
I have read in the forums there was a problem with bt.yahoo not accepting Freeola forwarding and was wondering if this had been resolved. I'm a bit of a cheapskate and don't really want to spend the £2.00 per month to read my emails - any suggestions?
Thanks
That done, I can send and receive, using Outlook, to the @artists.com address.
Thought I'd post this on here in case anyone else has the same problem

At this point, if you wish to send messages through a Freeola server, you will be required to sign up for the previously linked Email Freedom service which allows you to send via one of our servers regardless of whom your ISP is.
Can't use Outlook to send from this email (*****@artists.com)address - any ideas?

Got the problem fixed. I hadn't unchecked the Secure Password (SPA) box.
Did that and all's working fine. Thanks for the help

I hadn't realised I had Outlook running on an other computer and it had picked up the forwards to BT. I've cancelled the forwarding and set up Outlook going on the directions of the page Butch suggested. Still can't receive emails going on these settings though Outlook goes through the motions of sending and receiving.
On the page Butch sent me to, there's a "Please Note: This SMTP server will only work on Freeola Internet connections. If you have signed up for Freeola Email Freedom please click here for setting up your SMTP server details" note. Is this something I need to adjust?

I have a few clients that forward to BT/Yahoo so thought I had better do a test after reading this thread.
I have a test Yahoo account in place just for this - my forwarding is working fine this morning.
If you don't change to picking up emails direct (& removing forwarding) as Butch suggested then you might like to check your forwarding address is correct and perhaps check your BT spam controls and add your Freeola account to the safe list.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Access to your e-mails via POP (receiving) is free, you are able to set this up within your chosen mail client at no extra charge. However, this will not work if you have forwarding set-up on the account as any messages will automatically be forwarded on to BT.
The Email Freedom service will allow you to also send from this address and access your account via webmail.
If you require assistance in setting up Outlook, we have provided a step-by-step guide on how to do this here.
