I think thats all.

Heres what else happened: -

Britney Spears donned a jungle outfit to perform the world exclusive of her new single, 'I'm a Slave 4 U'. Half way through the performance she slipped a python around her neck, while a real tiger stayed locked in a cage.

But 'N Sync made the biggest impact, when Michael Jackson made his long-awaited return to the stage and perfomed a moonwalk and many other dance moves.

The 18th annual VMAs were also marked by two tributes to artists no longer with us. A memorial to 22-year-old singer Aaliyah, who died in a plane crash August 25, in the first quarter of the show brought an air of heartfelt remembrance to an otherwise fun-filled and free-spirited event. Though the official homage was contained to that brief segment, Aaliyah's memory was kept aloft throughout the show. Usher wore an Aaliyah T-shirt and after Missy Elliott and Nelly Furtado's live rendition of 'Get Ur Freak On', Miss E dedicated the performance to "the loving memory of Aaliyah, rest in peace."

Joey Ramone, frontman for New York punk pioneers the Ramones, who died in April, was also remembered for his musical contributions. Following U2's acceptance of the Video Vanguard award, the band introduced the surviving members of the Ramones after a brief eulogy by Bono.

Eminem couldn't hit the mark with his five nominations for 'Stan' nor could Janet Jackson with her four nods for 'All for You'.

It was a great night and one to be remembered for a long time. Well done to everyone and rest in peace Aaliyah, God bless you XXX you'll be sadly missed.

Yes I too think lady Marmalade is a great video but what makes it a great video is firstly the Music and secondly its featuring of 3 extreamy gorgous clantadly dressed females, oh and of cause "Ugly" l'lll kim.

If we foget though for a minuite (which is extreamly hard) about the featured women and concentrate on the Video It's not really all that good.

Two other videos I would have liked to seen nominated were Crawlin by Linkin Park and Why So Sad by The Manic Street Preachers Each of the aformentioned videos are extreamly good videos and In the Manic's case the video is far better than the actual song.
