Hi all,

just been looking at my site and I would like to change the type of page (from normal to a blog and a gallery to a normal). Is there a way to do this?

I just think the way I initially set out was slightly wrong on one or two of my pages and have thought of an easier way of managing my content.

Will I have to remove the page and replace it with a new one, or can I just simply change the page type?

Thanks I couldn't find anything, but guessed there wouldn't be anything there if I couldn't find any :p

I created a new page for the submitted ghost stories (new blog style than the normal type of page). Will delete the strangest pictures gallery and make that a normal page with embedded pictures - just out of personal preference on how it appears.

But thank-you for looking into it for me :)

As El Butcharino has explained it would be easier to simply create a new page. It would be impractical to try and convert a gallery page into a standard page since there would be no content to copy across apart from the page's meta details (e.g. page name, page link, meta tags).

There is currently no way of changing page types in the way you describe, this is likely down to each one being coded differently. If this is something we are going to offer in the future? Only Eccles (or maybe LukeM) could tell you that, although I wouldn't hold my breath :)

For now, might I suggest you create these 'alternative' pages within the builder, see how they look and if they work as expected, then switch when they are ready. Nothing lost that way.

As you are likely to have most of the content already this should, in essence, be a 'copy and paste' job.
