So no, I've not got it yet. I've been through hell last week not being to get online and not knowing why. All sorted out. 'twas a fluke too, my ethernet card that I got for Live has the same IRQ number as my USB controller 1. Of course it all worked fine originally when the modem was in port 2. But then I got a new printer and plugged it into port 2 and the modem in port 1... Still all working now. Although irritatingly I did reinstall windows as an attempted cure...
On to my question. If I get live, can I use my live account on someone elses broadband? I want to take my Xbox to a mate who has broadband, but no Xbox and I want to use live through his broadband. Would that work? Or am I tied to the one line?
