I recently bought the new need for speed game on the PS1 because i really enjoyed the previous game, Need for Speed:III hot pursuit.
I was kind of pleased with the new cars featured in the game and all but it was not very realistic. the graphice were good but now like in other racing games where the background is really detailed.
I managed to get enough money to buy the Mclaren F1 (500,000) but i was a bit dissapointed with the car. It may be the best car in the game but the acceleration on it sucks at the begining because the graphics are really slow.
Once the HEAVY cheat and the TURBO cheat have been put in the car is excellent and really fun to use because if u hit other cars fast enough they go flying and you just stay on the road.
The annoying thing is that the Special Events and Tournaments are really easy to do if you're in a BMW Z3 but if you're in a Maclaren F1 the other cars are really difficult to beat even with the cheats.
Hopefully the next installment of the series will be better with improved graphics and more realistic.
