In todays 2-0 victory over the Albanians, we saw a poor Steve Mcmanaman performance. England weren't vert good in defense today, and two players helped this cause. One being Ashley Cole, who is to un-experienced to play at international level and the other is Steve McManaman. He is a good player in his own rights, but he really hasn't done much for the country lately.

Steve moved to Real Madrid from Liverpool a few seasons back. Now in the past year or so, Mcmanaman has found himself on the Real bench. Not getting many games here- and that is affecting him at international level.

If you were Steve- what would you do next, come back to England and get to grips with the English pace, move to naother Spanish club or move abroad again? What ever he does- I hope it improves Steve's all round performance at International leve- with the world cup only nine months away, it will be needed!

Last I heard he was regularly on the Madrid first team. When did that change?

He gets enough money dont he from Real?! I'm sure he's happy down there with all the cash he gets. and all for just sitting on the bench! Lifestyle must be pritty cool also in Madrid.
