Cut out vowels as far as possible.
eg. ppl instead of people.
Or just go for phonetics - it doesn't have to bear any resemblance to the original word, as long as it sounds the same if read aloud (or thought of as aloud in the person's head) and is shorter. Erm...something like 'rite'.

My advice: an explanation rather than typing in abbreviations. Ahhh technicalities.


Plus I think it's silly to be doing English Language coursework on what is essentially a complete destruction of the English language. Heh. Ah well.

sorry sarah. i could use slang, but people cant use it.
for slang, basically just get a word and split it into two, like because. e.g. because - be and cause. then write bcaus. see its easy. however, it is rubbish and dont use it. good luck with the coursework.
