Last night I witnessed the best non - professional footie match between Lamphey and Cosheston. A third divison Pembrokeshire league match.

Lamphey third from bottom last season were favourites to win.

Lamphey who's average age was about 18. About 8 of the players were under 20.

Lamphey played a 3-5-2 formation and carved the Cosheston team to pieces with passing that even Spurs would be proud of.

As the Lamphey manager/coach said they were playing total football just like Ajax did in the early 1990's.

The Final Score was 5-0 to Lamphey.

It was my favourite because for the first time apart from videos and tv I had eye witnessed total football.

i dont watch amateur football either, but the best game i ever saw was the FA cup semi final of 1990 between Liverpool and Crystal Palace. Palace won 4-3 after coming from behind....this choice has nothing to do with the fact that i am a Palace supporter ....well a little...but if you remember the game ,you will agree that it was an absolute belter, it had it all...

East Kilbride Thistle 3-3 Cumbernauld

Crap teams but this match was great...

I knew manager of Thistle and was ball boy... can't remember much but it was football at its best, competive, two equal teams trying their best etc.

I know you wanted a non-pro favourite game, but I haven't watched any.

My favourite game is - "And Solskjaer has won it!!" - I think you know the game I'm talking about. I had tears in my eyes.
