I've ordered this classic game second-hand and still waiting for it to come though, but sadly it isn't coming with a manual. Does anyone know if it has an electronic manual on the CD which is the same as its printed version, so it has the story, weapons and items list that are readable from the CD?

They normally do. If not, there will almost certainly be a manual of some sort on the internet somewhere.
