Is this true because if it is I'll pre-order it. It looks so awesome. If not is there a game I should get instead besides Mario Kart and any game released before that like F Zero?

We didn't actually see Shadow die. He just fell to earth. There is still a possibility that he is alive. As for E102, he could just be rebuilt by Robotnik.

I've never had any gripes about any Sonic games. I've enjoyed the gameplay, the story, the characters, the atmosphere it creates.

i cant wait for sonic heroes it looks good the way you can control three players. this is one for my christmas list

There's 3 movies there. The levels look a bit too linear which would be alright if it was a fast as proper 2D Sonic - but it's all a bit stop-start all the time.

It is a totally new game available on all 3 consoles. As someone mentioned, you control a team of 3 solving the puzzles that stand in your way to the end of the level. There are 4 teams at last count. Not much else is available except for a load of screenshots.
As far as I know, it's a totally new game where you control a team of three characters and there are different teams too.
