these days movies are getting panned by the critics and dissed by the public more and more.that movies not as good as the first one, thats something i have hered almost everyone say,but the thing is they liked the first one so if the seconds the same shoulnt they like it aswell? or if in a new movie they use a camera trick or stunt etc that was a big part of a film, like the camera thing in the matrix, the audience will say oh thats original, couldnt they of thought up something new?basiacly what the public wants is every film to be original, have new technology, style etc.but that aint gonna happen.the movie industry is intrested in one thing and one thing only, cheese.oh wait thats me,the movie industry is only intrested in money.they find a winning formula and stick with it.they bring out endless merchendise, toys, hats, pens, book, t-shirts, posters and so much more.when you read the last sentance you see a list of merchedise, if someone from the movie industry was reading it they would see, money, money, money, money, money, money and so much more money.but the sad thing is, however much we want to see something new, we will still pay to see the same movie but with a different name over and over again and will buy the merchendise.

Couldn't agree more, I made the fatal mistake of seeing Planet of the Apes last week.....awful, awful, film!

JP3, yet another cash in on an original movie which was ok!

Rush Hour 2, haven't even seen Rush Hour although I do like Jackie Chan.....so I won't comment on this but it's obviously not got the must see attachment that most blockbusters have!
