Welcome to the packed out WWF open forum arena. Where we are ready for a tag team match up between two teams who must be considered amongst the very best that the WWF has to offer. A distinct contrast in style between the power of the APA (Shaneo & Afro) and the high flying, high risking Hardy Boys (IB & GP).
The pre-match talk between Michael Cole (who's leg is still in a cast after a vicious attack by Shamrock (Cong) during an earlier interview) and Tazz is all about how while this may not be officially a No.1 contenders match, the winners would certainly look good for a title shot somewhere down the line.
The Hardys’ Music hits and they emerge along with Lita to huge cheering from the capacity crowd. The APA emerge soon afterwards and have brought Jacqueline with them to ringside, apparently to neutralise the threat of Lita's presence.
Bradshaw and Matt Hardy start out by tying up. The crowd are a little unsure who to get behind but seem to be favouring the Hardy's. Bradshaw whips Matt into the ropes and back-body drops him. What height he got on that move! Bradshaw follows up with a scoop slam. Matt is reeling! Bradshaw off the ropes, BIG BOOT, Matt might be out cold! Cover...1...2...and Jeff comes in to break up the cover. A stunned Matt gets to his corner to make the tag . In comes Jeff and he’s hot! Bradshaw swings a punch Jeff ducks and hits a sit-out jawbreaker before whipping Bradshaw off the ropes. CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL! Whoops Bradshaw missed Jeff and has knocked Earl Hebner out cold. Bradshaw looks up just in time to see Lita coming off the top ropes with a hurricanrana. SPEAR!!! Jacqueline nails Lita, both women and all four men are now brawling in the ring. Bradshaw gets whipped into the corner and the Hardys hit the poetry in motion on him. The Hardy’s double clothesline Bradshaw over the top rope and he tumbles into the side of the ring announcers’ table. Jeff follows him to the floor.
Back in the ring Matt goes to whip Faarooq off the ropes but Faarooq reverses and hits a spine buster. Faarooq goes for the cover, but Matt catches him with an inside cradle that Faarooq breaks out of immediately. As they go to stand up Matt’s speed allows him to hit the twist of fate on Faarooq. Faarooq is out cold! Matt makes the cover…but Earl Hebner is still out cold! Matt gets up, looks around and goes to the outside where Jeff has been pounding on a groggy Bradshaw. Jeff re-enters the ring while Matt places Bradshaw on the Spanish announcers’ table. Jeff has gone up top…SURELY NOT. OH MY GOD!!! SWANTON BOMB!!! Bradshaw is driven through the table! Jeff’s hurt too! But look Faarooq is up! He catches Matt from behind with a couple of punches before…OH MY GOD!!! Dominator through the other announcers table…and Michael Cole couldn’t get out of the way!!! Looks like he’s hurt that leg again!!! Tazz continues commentating despite loosing his announce partner!!!

Faarooq picks up Matt’s limp body and hauls him back into the ring, he makes the cover…a groggy Hebner crawls across and slowly makes the count ……..1……..2…….MATT KICKED OUT!!! Faarooq gets to his knees and stares at the Referee…he is still arguing when he’s back on his feet. TWIST OF FATE!!! Faarooq took his eyes off Matt Hardy, again Hebner with a groggy slow count………1………2…….KICK OUT!!! He would have had him there!!! Matt Can’t believe it, but he hasn’t seen Bradhwa return to the ring….he bounces off the ropes unseen by Matt…CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!!! Matt’s out! Faarooq makes the cover…1…..2….3!!! He got him!!!
The APA wins a tremendously hard fought victory and head to the back to grab some beers! Not before dragging Jacqueline away from Lita though!!! The Hardy’s lie broken and battered in the ring!
