I can successfully connect to SOCOM, Amplitude and SSX3 to play online. Everything is fine and dandy, no probs.
But that stupid Central Station - I cannae connect to it! Just says 'Central Station cannae be contacted. Check your settings etc etc.' And it's pishing me off as I need tae register my handle - OR IT MIGHT BE THE END OF THE WORLD!!! Or not.
I'm using ICS at the mo', until I can get ma grubby mitts on a Wireless modem/router/switch. USB modem and all that.
Can anyone help a wee bairn in distress!?!?!?
(sorry to all the jocks for the jock vibe - don't be offended, half me Fam is Scottish so I'm allowed ;P)
One possible fix is to remove your Network Settings from your memory card then recreate these settings with a game disc (e.g. SOCOM or Hardware) in the drive, rather than the Network Access Disc. Once all of the settings have been configured, you can remove the game disc, put the NAD back in the drive, then you should be able to connect and register with Central Station.
If you try this and it still hasn't worked, I'd suggest contacting the Central Station helpline by emailing [email protected] - include as much information as possible when you email them, including your settings, what you have tried and a full description of the problem.
