What the hell happened why did they cancel making this game all of a sudden I hope they dont do that with the new Sam and Max.
I'm tired of realistic WWII (or so) games. Computers can do anything they want, and they decide to limit them to real life????? OMG WTF LOL!!1!11!1
A new X-wing game would be great (though I never played X-Wing or alliance, I did play Tie Fighter and that was fantastic). I did however hear that the developers behind X-Wing where also developing a new Lucasarts game called Secret Weapons Over Normandy, and after playing a demo of it I'd have to say they should stick to star wars games.
And why WHY WHY WHY do LucasArts not make a new X-Wing Game?
The series ended with X-Wing: Alliance, and with today's technology, they could create an awesome game in that genre!!

Yep, it was canned alright, though for what reasons I'm not sure. Probably for the best though, because Lucasarts haven't made a decent Adventure game since Grim Fandango.
