Yeah, I watched it one time and they actually had a good strategy but then the game started and it all got messed up. It was funny, because then the com managed to get all of their army together and they just got whooped.

Oh, Age of Wonders (and to a certain extent AoW II) are also excellent turn based magical strategy games.

You probably already have it but Age Of Empires, its brilliant. Hours of greatness, I would say more but everyone has already said how great it is below.

Rome: Total War. Seen it, definatly getting the game, although I was defintly getting it before I'd seen the show. A pity that some of the conte4stants are a bit rubbish though, seeing as they try to plan up strategies before seeing an entire Roman army crush them just makes me wonder why they didn't get a few strategy gamers on instead.

oh, and for all you strategy freaks out there, looks for a program called 'time commanders' or something, on channels 1-5.

It's like a program where they get teams to try their hand at an RTS (i don't know which it is) and command them to victory. It's like roman war kinda thing.

Age of Empires 2. Fun to play, addictive, easy and simple. And don't forget the longevity. I'm still playing regicides, random maps and deathmatches now.

Closely followed by Stronghold and Starcraft. I would acknowlege Railroad Tycoon as the best, but I won't because it's a simulation. Which isn't far removed from a strategy, but isn't one.

10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Excellent support service!
I have always found the support staff to provide an excellent service on every occasion I've called.
