Hmm, one of my stranger headings. Anyway, seeing as college is starting tomorrow, my parents figured that I won't have any more free time to go on the internet, so therefore you'll be seeing much less of me... who said "thank god for that"?- on these forums, as I would not be allowed on the 'net for lesiurely means.

However, if I find college a breeze, and find some spare time, I'm sure I can tell a fib and say that I'm on the 'net for "educational and research" purposes. I'll also be here in the weekends and the holidays (Christmas, Easter and Summer - no half term breaks in college, I think. Haven't got rid of me yet (unless Tony or Mr. Snuggly bans me). But then I'll just sign upo using a new name.

ha ha, nope, s-cubed is a new technology that is inbetween TFT and CRT, s-cubed TV's will be about half the size of CRT's and not that much more in price. It will work by bending the rays that are short from the ray gun meaning the gun can be placed closer to the screen.

It comes as an upgrade from buying a new PC. It originally came with a 19" monitor (CRT) with the package, but I "upgraded" to a 17" TFT one. Can't fit CRTs into my room, which is why I can't watch TV at the moment. The upgrade cost £435 extra. Oh well, my parent's money.

sorry bit slow tonight! Anyhow, the only reason there better is how deep in size they and the flatness of the screen, that does no way warrant the extra amount of cash u need to spend on em, how much did ures cost?

Thanks anyway. S-Cube? Any ressemblance too the Starcube, which was the rumoured name of the Gamecube? No? Oh well.

I've had this tag for a few days now, and no-one's replied with that answer as yet. But it actually means that I've ordered a 17" TFT monitor (still hasn't arrived yet), which everyone knows is miles better than CRT. Which is why I don't care what CRT is anymore. Do you see?
