Next for me was a Sega Master System (with Light Phaser), The Alex Kidd games were cool, Phantasy Star is a classic.
I then upgraded to a megadrive and had a ton of platform games. I bought a NES on the stength of Mario3, then discovered the amazing Maniac Mansion.
So eventually I bought a SNES which was great and I still play from time to time, Chrono Trigger being the best game I've got, though long hours have been spent on Kevin Keegan Player Manager!
Now I have an N64 and I still think it's great, Mario64 was a real eye-opener to what the machine could do, and Goldeneye is fantastic. Unfortunately lacking in RPG's except Zelda.
So that's my console history...
