It doesnt go so far as the fact that if you send someone into a room with perfect dark,she/he/it is not going to emerge a blood thirsty wild child, not quite, but she/he/it may start to become grumpy, angry, sad(to the extend that they are crying!)Or maybe they may neglect their parents for a while.
Lets view it from two standpoints:
1)OFFENSE:A person has a rather gory game, and goes into a room with it for a while,he`ll probably emerge and answer back, take the defensive,or shout at someone. Why?
Because, games moral eventually soak into kids and teach them that what their doing is right and usually it isnt.
2)DEFENSE:The game is not real, therefore,it would only affect them for a little while so it doesnt really matter
if what they do with their fake guns because..It isnt real!
so kids can be taught that its fine solong as its a real game.
My conclusion:I think it does change peoples attitudes towards this and athough it doesnt go as far as an adult feeling compelled to run someone over in their ford mondeo,I think to some extend it does affect people in certain ways.
What do you think?
