And generally the trailers that is circulating around the net have got me foaming at the mouth.(for the movie that is)

They have captured the atmosphere sure.
But sadly they have stuck to the concept of the book in most cases.

I've read the book, and downloaded the trailer of the 1st film of the trilogy. From what I've seen, they seem to have captured the atmosphere of Middle Earth. It's looking good. I'll be going to watch when it's released.

Dude, I assume our jokig when you tell me Tolkien was English. What I mean is is the story going to be Americanised and ruined as so many Foreign classics have before it. American funded? Bad sign. Whats the cast?

The Lord of the Rings was wrote by an English author!
Geez u tellin me youve never heard of him?..J.R.R Tolkien.
But the film is mainly American funded, directed by an Aussy and shot in New Zealand.

I dont know anything about it...just tell me one thing: Is it American?
