For years magazines have been accepting times and records from readers who know how to use an Action Replay. In records section and time challenges stupid microscopic and simply impossible times have been repeatedly shown. Do the editors not notice or do they just sleep under their desk for the whole day?
All the faithful who play Perfect Dark will know that such times like 16 seconds for the level Chicago - Stealth which I thought wasn't that small. You have to run pick up some equipment from one side of the map, run back and reprogram a taxi and then wait for it to blow up a stupid flying robot then run to complete the level. Prove to me it can be done and I'll still be skeptical but surely times like 12 seconds for the first level is not human. You have to sit in a lift for ages for it to come down. Even if all the enemies magically disappeared and you sprinted you still have to twiddle your thumbs in a lift.
At this point I would give more examples from Star Wars Racer but being lazy I can't be bothered to find them but some are so ridicously (i.e. 6 seconds for a lap or something) that these sections of magazines just become pointless. They need fixing or stopped.
What is the point of showing that you can use a cheat cartridge, is there no way of finding the guilty ones and have the trown from the country?

Sorry I realised the other way you could do it later but some times just seem ridiculous. Several seconds for one laps???

There is an easier way of doing chicargo (without the cheat cartrige)

In the back alley down to the door you have to plant a mine on in special agent, there's a dustbin.

Blow up thedustbin to find a bomb spy.
Send the bombspy into the bit where you finish and blow up the guards.
This saves you having to creat the distraction by reprogramming the taxi.

From there, drop down into the sewer to pick up the equiptment and then go to the exit.

16 seconds is possible.

No in N64 mag they send in videos of the whole challenge for the time challenges. They only ask for pics of the end screen in the Skill Club bit.

Only a video of the final time, not of you doing the challenge.

Someone in N64 mag did the first level of Perfect Dark on Agent in 13secs he did it by using a bug where you land on the first guards head and then do some other stuff. All the times that you see in Mags are real, they have to provide Video evidence for a lot of them, the Mag would automatically know if they where using a cheat cartridge.
