Its not really a bit too soon if you think about it, there only supposed to be announcing it in march 2004 but dont forget its only an announcemnet, Itll probably be out sometime in 2005 or something.....

If they could make sure it wasn't used for piracy, then yes. But there's always a way around copy protection unfortunately.
wouldn't it be good if they included a dvd writer as the drive :)
