A majority of PS2 Online games don't require a sub. I have SOCOM, SSX3, Amplitude and NFSU and they all don't need subs. I also know of T.H.U.G. and I think Hardware doesn't/won't need a sub (is that out yet???)

I only know of a few games that require a subscription cost. The rest are all free and should hopefully remain that way.
