Yes, one of Europe's major games trade shows is on tomorrow, trade only entry, and 18+. Most of the major developers are there, exchanging ideas, spying on each others' stands, wheeling, dealing, placing orders, watching demos, finding out about the latest technology in the computer world, and most importantly, getting legless at the free bars.

It only lasts for 3 days, but during this time we can expect to get some gaming announcments from the developers present. MadCatz are there demonstrating its range of new peripherals across all platforms, Ubi Soft are there, and Blizzard are rumoured to be announcing their latest long awaited game. (Another Diablo? Another Baldur's Gate? There's a teaser on their site about the announcement, but we'll just have to wait with bated breath).

The show is at London's new premier exhibition hall, ExCel, and it seems a shame that with a such high profile venue that they don't just tack on a fourth day for public viewing. There's a feast of entertainment laid on for the delegates present like Diablo Lambourghini steering wheel's being on show, Kick Boxing demonstrations by the World Champion on the Thrustmaster stand, news of the forthcoming Harry Potter title and so on, which I'm sure many of the gaming public would enjoy just as much as a few drunken hacks from the press.

They could even charge a small entry fee and recover some of their horrendous bar tabs on the final day.

The Americans think of the continent of Europe as "puny", as it's size, when compared to itself and the far East, is not large enough to gain top or eual priority as themselves. Also, they don't like the strict European laws.

Europe is the Biggest market in the Console world and yet we Europeans are treated like dirt.
Why is this?
And it dosent matter which console you have either.

Ah, Warcraft 3 is taking far too long, as if it had not done already! Too many changes in style I suspect, it better be good. Diablo 2 was not as good as it should have been so let's see if they can redeem themselves. Oh, you don't think it's Starcraft 2 do you? They'll probably introduce a new race as well, someone dark and shadowy no doubt, perhaps remnants of the ancient ones (whatever they were called, I forget) or another race they created. There wasn't enough stealth tactics in Starcraft, the cloak is good but the element of surprise isn't that great and it's easy to counter. Actually, it would be good if there was a new stealthy race, who had a special kind of cloak that blurred them rather than made them totally invisible so they occasionally appeared on the map but were harder to hit and could use stealth to a better advantage. Like the predator maybe. They should also look cool. A toning down of the races might be good too it was too specialised originally and a lot of things became obsolete quickly. Plus the ultralisks weren't as good as they should have been, they are nothing to the siege tanks of the Terrans. Siege Tanks and Goliaths, now that was a combination, none of this cheesy all in one carrier of the Protoss. Actually I think the Protoss were too unbalanced, and tended to be too difficult to fight unless you made the perfect type of counter troops to the ones they were making, which was mostly just guesswork really. The Zerg weren't great either because they only had a couple of good troop types. The Terrans were best because they had a nice spread, but marine rushes were too effective. A mix of fighters, transports and troops would have been better. Though they did have the ghost, who had excellent attitude and great catch phrases. "Never know what hit 'em". They could use that to introduce Starcraft 2 at the show if it is that they are unveiling.

It's hard to say, all that Blizzard have done is put up a teaser on the front page of their website with a panoramic view of some coastal cliffs with the words "Ancient worlds and timeless dangers are rediscovered", which may or not be something to do with Warcraft, but I get the impression that it's an altogether new game in development.
