Here is another KOTR first round match and it is between Y2J, Chris Jericho (Bandy) VS Kurt Angle (Grandprix).
BREAK THE WALLS DOWN! Here comes Y2J (Bandy) to a sold out crowd. Y2J is friends with his opponent, but tonight they have to fight.
HERE COMES YOUR OLYMPIC HERO KURT ANGLE! Kurt (Grandprix) looks confident about this matchup.
Before the bout starts Kurt (Grandprix) and Chris Jericho (Bandy) shake hands. The bell rings and were of Jericho and Kurt Angle square up, Kurt Angle manages to stay in the grapple position and push Y2J to the corner, the ref breaks the hold and Y2J immediately runs at Kurt Angle but Kurt catches Jericho and does a belly to belly overhead release suplex. Jericho gets back up and starts punching Angle and tosses Kurt into the ropes, Kurt bounces back and Jericho does a drop toe hold, Jericho acts quickly and does a headlock on Kurt Angle, Jericho is losing his grip on Angle so he picks Angle up before Angle escapes the hold and Y2J tosses Kurt into the turnbuckle. Y2J walks over slowly and tosses Angle into the opposite turnbuckle, this time Angle is dazed and walks out a bit and Jericho runs at Angle but Angle moves out of the way and Jericho hits the turnbuckle hard.
Chris Jericho (Bandy) has his back to Kurt Angle (Grandprix) and Angle does a German suplex and holds on the move, 1, 2, Jericho kicks out hard, Y2J isn’t gonna give up that easily. Kurt picks up Jericho and does a double arm suplex, Jericho crawls into the corner to get a breather, but Kurt starts stomping away and finally picks up Jericho and Kurt runs into the ropes while Jericho is dazed and Y2J suddenly reacts lies on his back grabs Kurts Angles feet and prepares for THE WALLS OF JERICHO!
Jericho has the manoeuvre locked on, Kurt is slowly making his way to the ropes at snails pace. Kurt finally gets there and Jericho has to break the manoeuvre, to the dismay of the crowd.
Y2J (Bandy) picks up Kurt (Grandprix) and throws him to the outside, Jericho follows and Angle grabs Jericho and throws him down into the steps, “OUCH”! says Paul Heyman. Kurt is clearing the cables and stuff of the announcers table and goes back to Jericho where Jericho has got up onto his knees and starts punching Angle in the ribs, now he has got up and his punching him heavily and does a arm drag and then keeps hold off Kurts arm and puts him onto the announcers table, “WHAT IS HE GONNA DO”! says Jim Ross and Jericho jumps onto the ring apron back to the announcers table and Jim Ross screams “OH MY GOD HE ISN’T GONNA DO THAT IS HE, OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HES GONNA MOONSAULT KURT ANGLE THROUGH THE ANNOUNCERS TABLE”!. Jericho hits the Moonsault and Kurt Angle is lying on the floor beside Chris Jericho who also hurt himself doing that manoeuvre. Both men are down and we could get a count out here, the ref is up to a 5 count and both men are struggling to get up. Y2J gets up first and crawls into the ring and Kurt gets in the ring slowly after.
Y2J (Bandy) has got up just and tosses Angle (Grandprix) into the ropes, Angle bounces back and hits a clothesline, Angle goes to Jericho’s feet and is gonna put on THE ANGLE ANKLE LOCK! Jericho is screaming in pain and needs to get to the ropes, he’s getting there, Jericho is getting to the ropes and finally gets to them, Kurt can’t believe it and quickly picks up Jericho and does a belly to belly overhead release suplex, and another, and another and now goes for the pin 1, 2, ohh, Jericho kicks out surprisingly. Kurt picks up Jerichos limp body and tosses Y2J into the ropes and Jericho bounses back with full force at Kurt with a flying clothesline. Y2J then runs onto the second rope and does his famous ASAI MOONSAULT! But Kurt puts his knees up and Kurt gets up and hits THE OLYMPIC SLAM! Cover by Kurt Angle 1, 2, 3 its over what a match. It was explosive, no one was expecting it to be this good.
