"Work restricting my time"

I work now to earn money to get me games, so I don't have much time to come on the net anymore (although I still try)

You'll probably mostly see me after school Mon-Wed and in the evening on Sunday (as long as I don't have too much homework or games to play :) )

I will still be here though!

Character building = Getting up when the sun hasn't risen and freezing your nads off in the winter. It made me feel like a new man (!)

A paper rounds a good character building job but since your mum and dad won't let you have one, ask your relatives for a job, you really can't do much but clean stuff since adults don't think you have much responsability at your age.

Try reading 'The Guide to Getting Rich Quick' by Robin Banks :)

When you're thirteen, there's not much you can do other than a paper round. So ask your parents for pocket money based on the wages you would have got if you were allowed to do a paper round!

Any serious suggestions?

I wanna get a job, but I'm only 13! What can I do and my parents won't let me do paperounds.

unlucky Edgy i got another 2 weeks off.

Through these summer holiday i've been working full time earning an adult wage. think about it in the first five weeks of my job i had enough money to buy a mac G4 6 games and a new console (I never actually bought a new console) and next week i get payed again not as much but still an awful lot

Yep Haddock, I'll be back in school next week :)

I work in the local M&S. I get a brilliant wage for a 16 yr old and that's basically for hanging a few customers and speaking to the items!

I'm only on a temporary contract but I'm hoping it gets renewed til at least Christmas.

What job have you got EDGY? it's hard to believe any one on SR works.
