Bolton-Liverpool:

Liverpool started best but was soon overcomed by Boltonīs Michael Ricketts. Liverpoo, tried to fight their way back to the game but Boltonīs defence wouldīt let them through. The first half ended 1-0...

John Arne Riise was putted in for Marcus Babbel right after half time.

But he could not break through Boltonīs defence either. Then it was Heskeys turn. Fowler went out for Emile Heskey. Three minutes later, he scores...

Liverpool were putting Bolton under pressure in twenty minutes without any goal.

Then Dean Holdworth did it. He fires a shot in need for time. Sander Westerveld lays down to grab it but fails miserably. The ball slips through Westervelds legs and into the goal. 2-1 to Bolton. Liverpool have five minutes to score on.

Five minutes later: The referee says itīs over and that Bolton wins 2-1 against Liverpool. They did NOT deserve to win!

Boltons scored 2, Liverpool scored one.

Whether Liverpool played better or not, Bolton still deserved to win.

I'm an Arsenal fan and felt the same about our result against Leeds, but unfortunately it's goals that count in football, and not pretty football or possession.
