my game lid wont snap down the first few trys unless i jiggle the button.
do any of you have the same problem?

I suggest freshly sqeezed dolphin oil applied gently to the inside of the casing. Make sure none touches your Mario Kart disc in their however, as the lubed up optical data will spin twice as fast, meaning you will be playing 300cc instead of the usual 150.
